72 tow truck

Does boom look correct for this vintage? It looks like an older type operation.

Board member breeh bought his stepside from this seller, might check with him if interested. I have never met seller bought have followed a couple of his auctions. Some neg feedback but selling used cars is a tough way to make a living!!

Boom looks exactly like the one on a '67 wrecker a junkyard back in GA has/had for sale. In fact the entire bed looks exactly identical. That truck looks the same fromt he outside except for it's red and white and has the small back window (has a '72 clip on it).

So the answer, looks like the correct vintage wrecker body.

shifter

I have seen shifters wrapped with foam and electrical tape to keep the knee bonks down on middle passenger, need to make sure those stranded motorists are comfy beside the tow-truck driver!!
