Re: LMC 21 gal tank fuel filler size?

They are not fuel approved, but on my father in law's 57 pickup we put a 31 gallon blazer tank under the bed, and used a through the bed filler. The filler neck was like 1-3/4 and the filler through the floor was like 1 1/4. So we went to the hardware store and got a fernco coupler and all was good. Made it easy to slide the filler adapter in once the tank was up too.

Re: LMC 21 gal tank fuel filler size?

it was from a 73 blazer K5 i think? we used the factory 31gal sending unit (was correct ohms for his VDO gauges), and blocked off the return, and put a vent hose + breather filter on the return line. It was a tight fit, we had to flip the spring plates and put the shocks in front of the rear end instead of behind. There were two styles, one with a straight down in filler neck and one with a 90* bend. This is in 57 chevy stepside shortbed.

By not fuel approved, i mean i don't know that fuel wouldn't eat through the rubber or mess it up in some way if the fuel line was that material. Since it's rubber and it's the filler neck and not holding gas all the time, we didn't see any issues with it, and it's a thin and workable rubber, easy to slide things into place in tight spaces where you can barely reach anything.
