Advise please
I've got a 68 C10... I'm totally new to all of this with little mechanical ability.. Anyway, all of my suspension and steering needs replaced.. I've got a couple of quotes on steering change and doing a 4/6 drop including drop spindles and c notch... the quotes have been around $4k... But I was thinking about a IFS bolt on kit.. I would think I could pull that off and come out cheaper?? What is your advise??? thanks....

What IFS kit are you referring to?
I'm not sure you can do a 4/6 drop and IFS for under $4k.

I would use ECE's drop kit for your truck.
www.earlyclassic.com Also rebuild the front with MOOG quality parts.

Scotts hot rods bolt in ifs kit 3,745 alone no limits is 2,695 and if your paying to have it installed it will still be pretty pricey too.Was the 4 grand parts and labor tho?Ask them for labor only quotes only you will supply all parts.This way you know what all parts are really on it and not paying a mark up price on them.
