Alabama field find! 66 SWB, AC, V8, "Cropwell"
After building my turbocharged "JED" project, one thing I regret is that I never had an organized build thread that tracked progress. Now I have a second chance!
I found a C10 on C-list in the Alabama countryside. After discussing it (fyi, timing is everything) with my loving and understanding wife, she gave me the green light! We loaded it in the rain. I jack knifed my truck and pulled in on with a tractor. The passenger wheel is lock up, so it was a bear cat to move. Here is the build thread: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=587639 In the field

Do you plan a turbo for this one too?

Haha! Nope, I'll just stick to turbo'd inliners, much easier plumbing.
Plan is to "power-stock" it.

Got the exhaust on.
2" duals with Brockman Mellowtone Glasspacks, dumped at rear bumper. I love the sound, totally 60's muscle. Brockman's are great people to buy from and even better product. Top notch! Have a listen.. http://youtu.be/MPIpZqq9b1Y
