Re: 1968 formally known as 1969
Nice '68 rig. Looks like the Chevy "50th Anniversary" Gold/White paint scheme, w/custom trim level. Much patina'd original paint. What is [or was ] '69 about it?

Re: 1968 formally known as 1969
It could have been a really late build 68, and just issued as a 69 (?) Hard to say but it is wearing 68 sheet metal. Does it have an ivory color interior? .. or what's left of the interior? There's a sticker on the inside of the glove box door. Maybe take a picture and post it (?)
This might be a 68 Anniversary truck which makes it worth a bunch more $$. Just be careful, the VIN is listed on the sticker too. I'd block out about the last 6-7 letters of the VIN when you post it up. Another way to tell the model year is with the first 7-8 letters of the VIN.. maybe someone will chime in with the specifics but what I'm saying is I wouldn't post the complete number.

Re: 1968 formally known as 1969
When I bought my 67 it was titled as a 69. The VIN number showed 67 and it was a small back window that is 67 only. I took the info showing what each letter in the VIN was to prove it was a 67 and asked the lady at the court house when getting the title into my name if that could have been a typo on a previous title. She said it sure could have and typed mine up as a 67. No problems.
