Great pictures. A lot of nice Macks too, but I have to mention the Green '61 Chevy C-80 Dump.

Re: Old Trucks At Macungie

One of my favorites. It's a little thang! Don't think I've seen one before. A B-20? Maybe B-41?

Re: Old Trucks At Macungie

Believe it says "B-20" on the hood. Probably a 6-Cylinder Gas and Hydraulic Brakes. I've even seen some with 2-Speed Rears, going against the traditional Duplex or Tri-Plex Trans.

Re: Old Trucks At Macungie

You're right. I tried to edit it and either my computer or this website was all wigged out. I got a message saying I have to wait 30 seconds between posting. Huh? I wasn't trying to post! And it was froze there so I said to hell with it and turned the damned thing off.
I'm showing these totally random...as I took them. This show does have more Macks than anything else. One reason is this is the East. Another is you pass a Mack plant on the way into town. ATCA is mainly N/E members,so there's lots of Brockways and a lot of border striping

Nothing wrong with a Mack!! It's probably my 2nd favorite brand. Also like Brockways. The extra bonus with them is many came with Detroits.

Thanks for posting these. I like the Spartan 80 dump. Used to get to drive a 61 Viking 60 dump where my father worked. Big six 261 4 speed and "armstrong" power steering.

Re: Old Trucks At Macungie

Glad you all are enjoying these. There's a little bit of everything at this show every year. I see the same stuff as well as new ones I've never seen. Always the true antiques. Stuff you'd see in a museum. True American history. It's a fun time. lots of talkin' trucks or whatever. There's more but Photobucket is assingout. I don't have time for that

Thanks for posting these great photos. It seems there is more respect and appreciation for history of larger trucks than pickups, which is why I am spending more time in the Heavy Hauler section. The green '61 C 80 is a rare model, very low production numbers, nice to see them preserved.
