CO WTB swb STEPSIDE bed and tailgate

Hi guys,

I'm looking for a swb stepside bed and a tailgate. I sold my lwb fleetside bed locally and cut my frame down. I'm looking for a bed with very little rust. I'm not a very good fabricator and ended up spending a ton of money on rust repair getting the cab/clip of my truck fixed. I'm hoping to avoid having to go through that again so I would rather spend a little more to get a decent bed.

I'm willing to pay to have it shipped to Denver if the price and condition is right. If shipping is required I would need you to stick the bed on a long pallet and tie it down standing upright on its nose. This makes for the cheapest shipping (as far as I know).

This truck will be used as a truck so I'm not looking for anything that fancy. I would hate to use a NOS tailgate knowing there are people who value such a nice gate much more than I would. If I don't come up with anything I will let you know!

By the way, swb means short wide bed. I dont think you are looking for a swb, you are looking for a stepside bed or snb, short narrow bed.

SWB means different things to different people, I believe because he stated Stepside bed that he ment "Short Wheel Base" stepside !

Anyway he found what he was looking for !!!! Good Find !

The "short" or "long" is the wheelbase part
The "wide" or "narrow" is the bed type

swb or lwb is your short and long wheelbase fleetsides.

snb or lnb is your short and long wheelbase stepsides.

I hope that helps you on the automotive terminology.

Got the bed on Friday! It was a long drive but well worth it. The bed is in great condition with no rust and very complete.
