Re: Accelerator pedal broken? missing something??
Your 68 has a gas pedal that attaches to a little knobs on the floor. It lays against the metal piece in your pic.

Re: Accelerator pedal broken? missing something??
Mine was like that when i bought my truck. I never figured out how it was suppose to go, I replaced it with a 72 pedal assy.

Re: Accelerator pedal broken? missing something??
I found my pedal under the seat. It works fine without one though.

Re: Accelerator pedal broken? missing something??
I bought the knob/posts as well.. I am guessing that they were never replaced when the floor was redone so many years ago Cuz there is no holes in the floor for them... I guess I am going to have to eye ball where the posts should go and break out the drill ,,, any tips on installing the posts??

Check out LFD's 71-72 kit for 67-70's. I did my own based on this design.
