I have my distributor vacuum advance on the driver side one and the passenger side one is plugged. I have my trans modulator connected to the intake behind the carb. LockDoc

Re: Anyone familiar with Edelbrock carb vacuum ports
Drivers side is manifold vac, passenger is called "timed" vacuum. Passenger side port only sees minimal vac until the throttle is open. Which one you use depends on how fast you want your vac timing to come in.

Re: Anyone familiar with Edelbrock carb vacuum ports
If your distributor vacuum is hooked into a port threaded directly into the manifold then your fine.

Re: Anyone familiar with Edelbrock carb vacuum ports
Look at your distributor, the canister coming out of it should have a vacuum hose connected to it, follow that hose and make sure it is connected to something on the intake. That would mean it has full manifold vacuum, most people use the ported vacuum on the carb.

Re: Anyone familiar with Edelbrock carb vacuum ports
Probably an elbow fitting threaded into the intake manifold, on my Edelbrock Performer its right behind the carb.
