Lookie what I found ..

Peeking out of a barn about 2 miles from my house.

71-72 Cheyenne, has all the trim and appears to be a SWB, cant really tell for sure from the road.. It's raining here just about every day so it's tough to get a picture.

Hugger Orange, looks like a true time capsule.. I have ridden by it about 50 times in the last couple days but I cant get the courage to stop and ask about it.

Crappy picture I know, but you can see it peeking out of the barn.

So stop and ask to see it. All they can say is NO. They could even make you some offer to own it.

Re: Lookie what I found ..

Just went by there .. I could see it a little better from the road I just don't have the gall to go up to the door. Nice house.. just kinda awkward.

Definitely a Cheyenne though.. swb, lwb I can't tell. Solid hugger orange.

I'm going to get a buddy or my Pops to go over with me incase he pulls a gun or something.

Re: Lookie what I found ..

Your camera focused on the drops on your window instead of the truck. Go ask them, they probably won't shoot you.

I hear ya on the rain, waves were braking this afternoon around the engine stand...in the garage. I'm a little tired of rain.

Re: Lookie what I found ..

Dads coming up to my place on Sat,.. maybe we can ride by and look at it. Were expecting Tropical Storm like weather here over the next couple days.

If its a tilt, tach, bucket, bb truck I'll post up some pictures of it being towed home behind my wife's CRV

Re: Lookie what I found ..

Just be honest with the owner...

I usually start out and say that I am of fan of Chevy trucks and especially 67-72 Chevy trucks. Tell them you saw the truck from the road and you would like to look at it with the owners permission.

If you get past this stage...when you get to the truck just show admiration of the truck and then after some small talk you might mention that if he would ever consider selling it you might be interested. If he says he would entertain an offer then the ball is in your court. If he says no... just say you understand but leave your name and phone number in case he decides to sell it some day.

Good Luck
