trans cooler lines
Ok so I just put my new engine, trans and headers in and I was hopping up and down excited until I noticed that my old stock trans cooler lines won't fit past the headers! So what have u guys done with yours?

i just bent up new ones! took me 10 minutes, ran them right off the tranny up to the frame rail and to the cooler

Steel line is best for the most part, you will have to get a flairing tool though. If you use rubber line make sure its for high pressure applications!

Pipe bender is half of equation routing of the lines is another matter all together. I tried doing my own. It took a lot of back and forth and couple of scrapped tubing sections. In the end I went with pre-made set from Right Stuff Detailing Automatic Transmission Cooler Lines (Part # TTC7503). The lines are bend using CNC bender and there are no bad bends, plus fit and routing are just right.

Thats the thing I have 2 good trans cooler lines. The problem is that then get bound up trying to go around the headers. They are right wear the lines were originally.

I replaced the metal lines with stainless braided lines and an fittings.
