New from Upstate, NY

Hi guys,

I have been working on cars for a long time and am looking to switch it up and get something different. I have been looking at the 67-72 trucks and they are really calling my name. I am keeping my eyes out for a nice body to start with and build a cool parts hauler.

I did a frame off resto on a 1976 Trans Am and recently did an LS1/6 speed swap on that. I would probably take a similar approach with the LSx powerplant.

Thanks,
Ryan

Re: New from Upstate, NY

Well my search has ended. I just picked up a 1972 K10 from my Uncle for $500 bucks. It is missing the motor and transmission, which is great because I want to do an LS swap anyway. Now time to work. I think I will keep the patena for now. I will post pictures when I get the truck.

Here is a picture! I think for now it will be a quick resto back to stock.
