Cold air box

Has anyone built one for their 67-72 C10? I relocated the battery to the drivers side. Just looking for tips and suggestions. TIA.

Thanks for the info! They have nice stuff. I think I may try to build my own first because I'm not sure if their setup will fit the way I want it to. I'm still debating the need for one. My research has been kinda 50-50 on the necessity of having one.....

Hart_Rod I understand what you are trying to do. And really hope you succeed in your efforts. As I plan to duplicate this on my truck some day. I've always wanted an air box where the battery sits, drawing air from the front grill area.

Good luck!

Re: Cold air box

They also sell round air cleaners that are sealed other than where your air hose goes. I have that with a plastic flex hose going to a hole in the core support. It helps (cool air) if you keep rolling, but heat soaks putting around.
