New to post longtime lurker

Hey everyone, figured Ivwould introduce myself. Im originally from oregon but now reside in NC. I am a USN Corpsman( Doc to Marines) and I love my job. Im currently deployed but with the help of my father found a beautiful 1968 Chevrolet C20 like my grandpa had when I was a kid. We used it as a farmtruck until sadly my parents decided to sell it. Fast forward some years and I have been looking for a exact one(fleetside C20 327 with a TH400) and I bought it after having my dad inspect it and send me tons of pictures. I will try to upload them on the sh*tty internet from here in Afghanistan but once I get back to the states I am going to restore it. Plan on removing the aftermarket holley carb and put a Q-Jet but other than that and a new exhaust keep it mostly stock. Possibly do a lower at some point. Nyways glad to be here and stoked to have finally bought y dream truck
