New, and still looking for my first 67-72

Greetings, everyone.

I've been a long time fan and admirer of the 2nd generation of C/K pickups and have finally resolved to buying one, no matter awful gas prices are. My search/research has led me here to this forum, hoping to learn and perhaps enlist help from fellow members who have been in my situation before. My search for the right pick-up (for me) has proved difficult and months of craigslisting & googling has yielded few results. I thought maybe that I would post a "Want to Buy" ad, but I don't appear to have that capacity with my account. Is this part of my probation, is it bad etiquette, am I doing it wrong, or is there a better sub-forum for such post? Any guidance would be appreciated.

Thank you,
FarmerJohn

Got it, thanks.
I ended up locating and purchasing a '69 Custom/20 2WD in great condition from the ORIGINAL owner.
