WTB: "LA" suffix coded 265V8 or "MA" 283
I have a need to locate a 265 V8 w/ L or LA stamped on the suffix code for a 57 Chevy truck I have, and I also need a MA suffix coded 283 for a 58-59 I am building....a real needle in a haystack these are, but worth asking anyway...you never know what treasures someone has stashed away somewhere....

That is not to tall an order. I shipped an MA coded 283 to Carlyle last spring, they are out there.

Hi LT1Burb - I am finishing up a LT1 install in my 1958 Chevy Truck. Kingfisher replied to my post that I should contact you because you had a great install. My post earlier today had the question. has to do with the 3/8 hose that ran to the expansion tank.
Thanks in Advance |

If you have not found one there is a 265 for sale on the Twin Falls Idaho CL, I can't figure out how to copy the link on my wifes computer.
