Wtb
I decided my truck needs an AM radio that works in addition to the stero/cd/ipod one I have hidden. So I riiped apart the dash and found out the speaker is bad. I need a WORKING speaker like the one below asap so I can put my truck back together. Let me know what u got. I dont need the bracket or wire connector.

Re: Wtb
Since most used speakers are bad, I bought a new one from Electro-Tech.
It fits and works great. Here is a link if you want to check them out. Jim http://turnswitch.com/services.htm

I bought mine from Electro-tech too. Sounds a lot better than the original I had in the '70. http://www.turnswitch.com/speakers.htm Scroll about half way down the page. I also had two original speakers re-coned by Jackson Speaker Service in Jackson Michigan. LockDoc

Re: Wtb
Within the next wek or two I am getting a new stereo put in my 72 pickup. The truck still has the original speaker and when I get the new stereo installed I'll get the techs to make sure its good and if its okay I'll make you a good deal.

Re: Wtb
Gotta' go along with LocDoc and JimK on the Electro-tech speaker. I used the very same speaker when I installed my original '71 am/fm radio and couldn't be any happier with it. Great sound and very reasonable on price. Also great customer service when I talked to their tech. My .02 cents

Re: Wtb
I dont disagree with you Ironhorse and if fact I am putting a new Retro-Sound Dual cone, dual channel speaker in my truck. Maybe Brian wasn't aware that new replacement speakers are available or maybe he wants to keep his truck stock.

Re: Wtb
Thanks for the replys. I think Ill go with the new speaker since everyone is happy with theirs. AG thanks for the offer but Im more concerned about the performance then the originality.
