'67 rear leaf spring hangers/shackles
Hey guys, I'm working on a '67 K20. I need to replace the rear leaf spring hangers and shackles (originals are rusted to dust) but I'm having trouble finding parts. Anyone know where I can get aftermarket hangers/shackles? Are there any other years/models that I can steal the parts from? Any info is appreciated, thanks.

Truck have a lift on it or are you considering a lift? If so, I would out a shackle flip on it from offroad design.

Re: '67 rear leaf spring hangers/shackles
Thanks, I'll keep looking through the "suspension marketplace" but I'm still unable to find anything for a '67 3/4ton.
I'm planning on keeping it stock height for now, but I would consider a shackle flip if that's the only way I can get new hardware. I don't want to go over 2" of lift though, looks like offroad design only offers a 4" kit for a '67? |

I had to grind the bushing sleeve down a little to fit, but these worked great. Got new springs from them, too. (edit, sorry, these were for my C1500, be worth a phone call, though)

Re: '67 rear leaf spring hangers/shackles
When i converted my c10 to a k10 i had to do the same thing ur doing. Tear off old leaf springs and out in new ones. I got my shocks, leaf springs, and shackles from sdtrucksprings.com the springs they sent me were sturdy and well built! Guve it a look. Also have great customer service!

Re: '67 rear leaf spring hangers/shackles
Can I just use these?
http://www.autoandtrucksprings.com/p...-1529-156.html I realize I'll have to drill new holes in the frame, but as long as I mount them so that the axle hangs in the stock location it should be fine right? |

Anyone? I'd like to get this truck back to a rolling chassis soon but I'm stuck here. Final bump before I just go for it and hope for the best!
