DJM upper control arm issue

I'm new to the forums and full sized trucks in general. I've got a 1978 c10 that I'm giving a frame off treatment to. I've got a 5/5 drop I'm installing but having a bit of an issue with the upper control arms. The holes in the cross shaft seem to be way too large for the mounting studs. Has anyone else had these issues?
I've attached a few pics
