Zerk fittings? Self tapping?

I got my tie rods, but i cant install the zerk fittings,
it says there self tapping, but i cant get them in , i tried and screw them in the hole but it just spins on the top its not actually going in and threading itself

THey might have packed the wrong size with your tie-rods. Parts store will have them.

are you turning them clockwise?....lol. prob the wrong size or they're not self tappers.......

I tried turning them with pressure couldnt get none of them so I lightly tapped them in, and it worked

why not just tap the tie rod a thread or two just to get it started then once the zerk has two threads it should finish the tapping if it truely is self tapping.
