64 GMC Project

I got a 64 GMC 1000 the other day for some work I did to a house. Hopefully it won't be too much of a project. It has a 455 in it that cranks over. The guy pulled out the wiring in it for the most part though so I will be having fun with that.

Re: 64 GMC Project

Thanks. This place does seem better than some other forums I frequent. Hope to learn a lot. Mostly a Ford Mustang guy so this will be a new learning experience. I really like the body style and couldn't pass up the deal though. Should be a fun project between me, my dad, and getting my oldest son out there to tinker on it and learn.

Re: 64 GMC Project

Sunroof and 455 were already there when I got it. Not my preference, but for the price why complain. I also have access to a 64 Chevy parts truck in the woods on my buddies property if I want to change it. I do like the GMC emblem being different.
