What's the part name?
What is the name of the piece that the upper part of the front coil spring is housed in? Is it part of the frame? Can it be replaced. Mine has some rust, not to the point of the spring failing out though.

That's the crossmember. It can be replaced.
What year is your truck? Do you have disc brakes up front? Posted via Mobile Device

Re: What's the part name?
Is the rust causing any structural concerns? or is it just general 40 year old rusty metal?
