Heater Box Parts
I recently found my heater core had a leak and had to replace it. When I took apart the heater box I found the metal parts the connect to the heater box to seal it were corroded pretty badly. I haven't been able to find any replacement parts for this without buying the entire heater box assembly however. My fiberglass piece is in very good condition just need the small metal piece in back where the blower motor is. Any ideas? My last resort would be trying to find something in a junkyard, though I expect that is a common corrosion area.

Re: Heater Box Parts
Find something in a junkyard or on the parts board of this site.
Components are N/A in aftermarket.

Re: Heater Box Parts
I can take a few pictures of what I have done
To modify mine tomorrow. Basically, I took the good non-rusty fan motor mount And joined it with the existing A/C housing Metal frame. After everything gets mounted, It won't be seen anyway. I'll post pics hopefully Tomorrow evening. Have a good one! Ben Smith Posted via Mobile Device |

Re: Heater Box Parts
Just found a replacement heaterbox without AC only.
http://woodallindustries.com/product...&vehicles=6772 I think mine is to rusty to repair but I am going to give it a try to hone my welding skills. Either way I ordered a new one since I have been getting lots of OT lately, happy birthday to me. |

Link to one place you can buy the Woodall heater box mentioned above. Thanks for finding that, looks like a nice replacement. |
