Control arm question

Does anyone know if there is a aftermarket lower control arm that will fit a 1970 C10 with 15 X 8 wheels with 3 inch Belltech drop spindles

Re: Control arm question

Probably not much help, but I have a set of lowers from Performance Online that I used with 2 or 2.5 drop spindles as well as lowering springs (don't remember how much). Don't know about the 15x8s though since I'm running 7s.

I used their uppers too, and I'm pretty happy with the way they worked out.

Re: Control arm question

Thanks ill research them a little more I don't think they will work though. If I had known that 3in drop spindles with 15 x 8 wheels with a 4 in backspace would be such a pain in the @ss. I would have went with 2 1/2 drop spindles or bigger wheels.

I always trim the lower a-arms,... even with 2.5" drop spindles.
Less backspace or a larger diameter wheel will definitely make your life easier,...
but you never know when you might have to bolt on a set of 15" wheels up front.

Re: Control arm question

I am running 15x8(4" backspace?) rally wheels and 3" bell tech spindles with trimmed stock control arms.
Wheels do not rub the control arms at all. I do have a small issue with wheel weights rubbing the tie rod end though.
