Re: 1955 - 1959 Chevy or GMC Suburban / Carryall
I have a 59 panel that I got from a board member a few years ago. Ran when I parked it on concrete. It has some rust on a drivers fender and fatigue cracks where the front door hinges are bolted. I do have another cab section that has great hinge pockets. Complete truck but has car buckets not original seats. Three aluminum wheels, needed a spare for another truck then sold that truck. I have seen the wheels come up from time to time on craigslist, in fact there is a single wheel up for sale now.
I paid $2400 for the truck and another $800 to have it delivered from Odessa Texas. Clear title I would take $2300 as is and be there when a shipper would get it. Will not get involved in the shipping process, I have in the past and it's a mess. will roll but after 5 years not running..............big 6 and 4speed with granny. I will be out at the shop tomorrow if you want pixs. Email me at scjkovach@aol.com if you want pix. Thanks , steve |

Thanks, I did find a '57 GMC in Minnesota, a completely original former South Dakota forestry truck, thanks to all for looking.

Just curious if you bought the 57 - I looked at it and it was super cool but he wanted like 5500 or so and I thought that was too steep for my wallet

Hey GMCNUT, yes I did buy it, I dismissed buying it three times before I came to my senses. A former South Dakota forestry truck, original, practically right out of the woods. It was steep for my wallet as well, even though I did get him down to $4750 in the end. My first offer was $2500! The truck is so untouched I just had to have it despite the price. Did you see it in person or pics?
