Electric windows??
I am looking to install electric windows in my 69 C-10. I have seen several different versions and trying to decide on what application works the best. I am leaning toward the A-1 Electric version that is made for the 67-72 Chevy trucks. I would like to know if anyone has installed them and how the install went. Also would like to know how well other application work and how happy with them you are.

Re: Electric windows??
I have them...Love em.....
My advise is to rebuild the whole door while you have it apart, new scrapers, door channels, I even sprayed liner in the doors to help stop rust. Here ya go. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...=404131&page=2 Smitty

Re: Electric windows??
Thanks Smitty and Short Wide thats what I was wanting to know. The cab is completely stripped down to just sheet metal. I am replacing everything inside the doors when I put it back together after paint. Electric windows and door locks.

Re: Electric windows??
I will be getting the A-1 kit. I wasnt that worried about trying to be gentile when I gutted the doors to go to the paint shop. Now I have to figure out how to put everything back in without messing up the fresh paint when I get it back. I will be putting in new rubbers electric locks and the A-1 kit. I guess I will be using a lot of tape.
