what is the best radiator to buy!
So i found out i have at carbureted LS1 motor. it also has a cam in it, but still trying to find out what kind it is. I am interested in buying a aluminum radiator with electric fans because I live in Las Vegas and im afraid the heat may be to much. I have found some 2 tubed radiator with 1 in. tubes may be better than those with 3 or 4 rows that have smaller tubes. The truck should have about 400 to 500 horsepower by the time i get done. but i want to get the proper radiator right now. any help would do. thanks

Re: what is the best radiator to buy!
We are a Gold Vendor here, and we make hand-made aluminum crossflow radiators that are drop-in (no fabrication or cutting required) right here in the USA, with US-sourced materials. No epoxy, no plastics, and TIG welded. Our units are 2 core, utilizing 1" thick cores each, for a total thickness of 2" at the cores (same thickness as a traditional 4-core brass & copper). We started a thread in the vendor section, where you can read about our set-up along with pricing and member discounts:

Re: what is the best radiator to buy!
also be cautious of the depth of the radiator. We build ours with dual 1" thick cores, for a total thickness of 2". Much more than that, and you start bottle-necking the air as it passes into the core, and can cause the air to be forced around the radiator instead of through it.

I have an aluminum radiator made by Wizard Cooling. Might right here in Western New York. They did an awesome job and I got a personal tour of their facility. Down to earth people and excellent product.

Re: what is the best radiator to buy!
Here's the US radiator. They cost less and I wish I could spent 5-600 dollars for the hefty ones.
