'51 Side Window Channel
Can someone explain what I need to order by looking at the attached picture? There is this "corrugated" metal channel that the side windows rub against when going up and down. Right now the window just flops around in this channel. I am assuming there should be some sort of "soft" mat'l attached to this corrugated channel. What do I purchase and if I purchase window channel, is this corrugated piece included?

Re: '51 Side Window Channel
Should have felt wrapped around that channel, the corrugated metal adds structure to it. check this link for replacement part: http://www.classicparts.com/1951-54-.../#.UfqSZW08slU
The channel is inside the new part, all one piece....

Re: '51 Side Window Channel
I'd have to say that your truck is actually a 50 if it came with the cowl vent on the side and you filled that in.
This is my 51 cab that came without a side vent and has wing windows. I'd just order the felt and fuzzies for the 50 doors rather than 51 doors. Back then some states titled the new trucks as the year they were sold new and that might be why it is supposed to be a 51.
