Re: It is getting dropped...literally.

Front is done, getting the rear done tomorrow!

I will say that this is the one and only time that I will buy DJM. The customer service was horrible, the instructions suck, and there are a few things about the kit that I have not liked at all(such as the hokey way the front shocks mount on the bottom. It rides pretty good though, I will give them that.

Looks great!

I was going to say "All DJM huh?" and then I read down a little further...so I'm glad I won't be the one to dissapoint you. You probably talked to Mike, with his first class attitude. He knows his stuff, but he's like a Doctor with bad bedside manner. It will all work fine, and those arms are a nice ride and very sturdy. All-in-all not a "bad" way to lower a truck and the sway bar looks killer but keep a close eye on your sleeve bushings and especially the five cent ball joints they refuse to upgrade. In fact I'd just plan to replace them with Moog inside of 6 months. Hopefully your turning radius is intact. I've got more...but I'll spare you. I've been done with DJM for a few years.

Re: It is getting dropped...literally.

Will you take a pix of your stock rear shackles next to you new ones so I can see what the difference in length is.
I think I need to raise my rear end a inch or two, and the shackles may do the trick.

Re: It is getting dropped...literally.

New pics! The long tube headers sit pretty low, but the cross-bars are the lowest part so I am hoping that nothing happens. Hooker long-tube headers, 3" Flowmaster Exhaust with Super 44 mufflers and hi-flo cats, MSD wires, Bosch Platinum 4 prong plugs, DJM 5/7 drop kit are all the upgrades she is getting for a while unless she gets a new owner!

Yeah, I was kind of skeptical when I saw them. Good thing is that I don't drive it a whole lot.

Sorry, I didn't see this before I finished the rear. The new shackles had about 1" difference in length.
