80's hood on 77 cab
Does anyone have a link to the write up about modifying the cab to use later model hinges in the cowl? I had it saved but it is not a valid link anymore.
Thanks, Tim Posted via Mobile Device

Re: 80's hood on 77 cab
You switch your front end to a later one 81-87, or just asking about the hood hinges

Re: 80's hood on 77 cab
I have a 77 c10 with 80's front end. The po set the hood up to open reverse and I am trying to install it normally but don't have the hinges in the cowl.

Re: 80's hood on 77 cab
I've done a few by putting the rear hinge in place with the arm up, then drill holes to mount and cut the slot for the arm to sit in. I wish I still had the measurments for the hole placement. You will have to change the wiper pivots also and drill some hole for them.

That is exactly what I am talking about. I am trying to find the article about how to mount the hinges in the cowl.
