Save Your Rockers and Cab Corners!

The rockers and cab corners on my 71 4x4 are in pretty good shape. But...I would like to keep them that way. Not being a body man, rusted rockers and corners would be very tough for me to fix. Anyway I noticed Eastwood sells an extension hose and nozzle for it's rust prevention. I just got done using it, and saturated the inside of my rockers. It works as advertised! Just thought I'd pass this along.

Is this the green stuff that eastwood sells? Iv'e used some and was pretty impressed with it. You can also buy it in a quart as well...

I thought about using some of this on my truck, nice to see some unbiased reviews.

It's their Rust Encapsulator, you can get it in black, silver, or red. If you use the aerosol, you can get a 24 inch extension tube with a nozzle. I was skepticle but it does work.

You can insert it at the cab corners and direct the nozzle into the rockers. It can't hurt and might help a lot!

Um....I think it's too late for me....

My dad had a shop (attempt) to fix the rust. Their solution? Rivet panels underneath the body then apply bondo! Oh well.....I didn't pay anything for the truck...
