1969 c10 rear axle
i have a 1969 c10 2wd with a dana 60 rear axle. the rear wheel bearing went out and wiped out the bearing retainer plate, nut and some of the axle tube. im looking for a good used dana 60 rear axle but i cant find anything around the same year in my area. what other year pickups had the same dana 60 rear end. so all i have to do is install and be done. thanks

Re: 1969 c10 rear axle
If you are sure you have a stock Dana 60 it is going to be hard to match up in stock form. 68,69 and 70 C10 big block 4-speed trucks had Dana 60 axles with 6-lugs. 71 up C10 used a 5-lug 12 bolt Chevy axle. There was also concurrent GMC usage 68-70 you can look into.
Might download the Dana Spicer manual X510-8 for the BOM numbers to help your search. www2.dana.com/pdf/X510-8DSD.pdf
