monster tranny lockout kit?

hello has any one use the monster transmission lock out kit for the 700r4?

I'd see if a moderator could move this post to a more related forum.

TH700's have been wired like that since someone installed one in a hot rod.

Really no need to buy the kit. Just make sure the power to the solenoid is interrupted by a normally closed brake switch.

That way the clutch will release when coming to a stop.

Some might argue that the 4th gear switch will have the same effect but you'd be surprised how long the trans will stay in 4th while decelerating. It will be harsh and jerky when it finally does release.
