1968 4x4 4-speed and transfer case question
I just bought a '68 for the wife and she wants an automatic instead of the manual it came with. What is the trans (4-speed man) and transfer case called and is there a market for these used? I don't want to scrap them if they are useful.
Thank you |

Re: 1968 4x4 4-speed and transfer case question
If it's original to the truck, the trans and tcase are a SM-465 trans and Rockwell T221 xfer case.
They are rock solid pieces, but the T221 isn't as popular as the NP205.
