1947-54 Shop Manuels
Finally getting settled into the new house and got the truck in the gargae, now the fun begins! I tried looking for a Haynes/Chilton repair manuel and cannot seem to find one. On amazon I found a shop manuel for a 54 and 47-54 factory assembly manuel. (links below) Has anyone used these? I assume there isnt really any difference in the suspension/braking system between 53/54. The truck I am working on is all original in great shape so my plan for now is to just get her running and safe to drive down the road.

Re: 1947-54 Shop Manuels
I am no expert, but I think that first you would want the shop manual. I have a '52, and have the shop manual. It tells you everything you would ever need to know as far as taking care of and adjusting what you have. I would think that the other manual would tell you more how to build it. I will eventually have both, I am sure. But, to start with, the shop manual is what you need.
