tight budget...just wondered if anyone found a way to alter this style front end? ideas??

I have repainted grill so it looks better but.........

also truck now is lowered and different rubber

sand it smooth. primer it and paint it body color. paint the center black. an presto dressed up grill on the cheap.

I just painted mine a Mercedes silver after about 8 hrs' of sanding off three old peeling paint jobs.

I added a bowtie from a 30's era truck . It is brass with porcelin printing

I second the paint to match body with black center idea. The fancy trucks were painted body color. On a Chevy,I prefer the W/T grille with mesh. On a '95 Cheyenne,that had the base single headlight grille,I swapped to the early W/T grille that is darker grey and matched the mesh in the ram-air hood.
