Bottom door patch panels

Bottom of door on my 55TF is bowed out pretty good from some previous incident. Is it much of a job to replace the bottom of the door. There is no rust at all . Maybe I could try straightening it with a good hammer and 2x4 first. The center of the door sticks out from the step about half an inch.
