Re: wiper arms

LMC makes them. I bought some from them a week or so ago and am waiting for them to arrive since they're on back order. I just called them and the silver ones are on crazy backorder. Next batch due in about 5 weeks. I swapped my order to black ones. She said they only had a handfull of them in stock at the time.

Re: wiper arms

I got mine in yesterday. They fit VERY well. They even have the TRICO brand stamp like the original ones did. I kinda like the black ones over the silver ones I had.

Re: wiper arms

I have the black ones, and they have been installed for more than a year now and have not given me any trouble.
I choose the black ones, because it was getting so hard to find just the blades for the factory stainless ones,
with the replacement blades being black all the time I just thought the black would look better.

Re: wiper arms

Anco refills

Pretty easy, I can even order them on the other side of the big pond. Very easy to install and they are just a little longer, which actually fits better and covers a larger surface.

So go for the stainless silver ones.

Thanks Remon, I just most of my parts from the local parts stores, I still have my original arms so I might buy a few sets of the refills, and swap them back out.

I have the factory stainless wipers on my 68 but cannot seem to find any wipers that are held on by the little tit. I found some huge adapter but it still doesn't work well, they end up falling off while driving.

will those replacements work better??

I don't know if there are differences between 68-72 and 73-87, but on my '77, with original Trico wiper arms they slided in perfectly! The only thing I did had to do was turn the little clip around and figure out the best position, so that the blade is centered in the arm. (on each side same size overlap).
