Electronic Gauge swap
I recently converted to a 5.3 ls and acquired an electronic suburban gauge cluster. I am about to swap out the original factory style gauge with the electronic one. I've never worked with gauges before, is it a simple swap that consists of just replacing the wires where they go on the original manual style 84 gauge or is there more to it? Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance.

Re: Electronic Gauge swap
It is that easy. GM was kind enough to keep most of the wire colors the same in the circuits. You will have to run a wire from the "VSS out" on the PCM (should have been a white wire) to the speedo signal in, and repin the rest. Look for a diagram of a 90-91 R/V body cluster and make yours match.
