New truck

Just picked up a new project tonight for a quick flip. Bought a 1995 extended cab 2wd Silverado with 386K miles on the clock for $500. Drove it home from a state away. Truck ran like a champ, smooth as can be at 70. Valve seals are gone, interior is trashed, exterior is spray painted black, needs lots of little stuff and the brakes take a double pump to be able to stop. I certainly think I got a heck of a deal, but down here, that's about a $1200 truck. I re-posted it on CL as soon as I got home, and also posted my '71 C-10 for sale. Whichever ER goes first, I will keep the other. The '95 has tons of potential, and the ride home spoiled me compared to the C-10, but there's something to be said for the classic! Truck is black ext with dirty grey int. driver side window motor barely works WITH the assistance of pulling up the window, so that's gonna need some work. No interior door handles (PO had a rope run through the inside of the door to release the latch). The HVAC controls don't work, A/C doesn't work. Seat won't slide forward or back and the driver seat is slap wore out. Lotsa stuff to fix, but I live across the street from a junk yard, so I'm hoping I will be good. We shall see! Just wanted to brag, and see if you guys have any advice or suggestions. This is my first newer model. Tell me what to look for and what are some great tips and tricks?

Re: New truck

what all the $$ spent fixing, you would make more in the end parting it. if you were fixing to keep it, then the $$ spent would make more sence.
