A/C System
Went to a salvage yard today and found a Mark IV a/c that sets underneath the dash. It has about 4 vents and looks to be in good condition. I was wondering if those things can be rebuilt? I noticed the squirrel cage fans (it has 2 of them) are locked up. Am i going for something thats not worth it anymore? What would it take to restore such an item into my non a/c cab? I assume this thing needs new hoses, a compressor, probably a drier of some sort. ANY information on these units would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
Aaron

I was in phoenix a couple of years ago andI found an aftermarket AC system that went for 800. Don't know the quality but looked nice. Probably better than spending time and money to rebuild an old one.

I would agree that a new aftermarket system would be a better way to invest your dollars, and avoid a lot of headaches.
