Dana 44 4X4 Front Ring/Pinion 3:54 & 3:73

I have two ring and pinions. They are both for Dana 44 4X4 front differentials.
I have a rare 3:54 R&P that combo's with a Dana 60 rear $125 SOLD and a 3:73 R&P that combo's with the HO72 $100 plus shipping. The threads are nice and clean. Paypal add 3%

Re: Dana 44 4X4 Front Ring/Pinion 3:54 & 3:73

I have a 72 burb with 4x4 3/4 4 spd. I guess it has a dana 44? Anyway I'am taking a complete70 3/4 ton 2wd 3:54 diff and putting it in the burb for better mileage. I'm guessing your front diff gears would complete the set I need. Let me know if this sounds right and we can get together on a set of gears for the front of my burb. Thanks Art 317-835-2057 evenings

Yes, you have a Dana 44 HD with the big hubs, so this is the correct front ring and pinion. I didn't make a changeover from 2wd to 4wd in the rear, but, I believe if you measure the housing it will be off just enough on the shock brackets to need relocating. Also the spring perches are solid on the 4wd and not on the 2wd. I will check to see if I have another 3:54 rear ring and pinion.
You would be much better off keeping your original set-up and changing the ring and pinions front and rear. Also, I have a rear Posi-Lok diff case on another thread. Be back. Thanks, Dan
