OK Id like to change my 67 vent glasses to the chrome ones ? mine has the plain black ones anybody got close up pics of the chrome ones ? anybody make these new ? or rechromed ? a man will probly never find a NOS or mint set any info help ??? thanks in advance ,,,

To my knowledge, the only thing difference about the '67 vindow windows vs any others is the handles, which your's should already have. I think you can put later model vent windows in your truck and change the handles to appear correct.

the frame around the vent window is different and the glass does not have a hole in it

Oh OK. I put '71 model vent windows in my '67 C-30. It didn't have vents when I got it, so I just changed them. I didn't have anything to compare it to. I know later models will fit the doors.

yep ! 67 vent windows are NOTHING like 68 to 72 vent windows and yea that pic is the ones I need (WANT) chrome around the glass mine are black now , I am gonna start hunting for a cherry set ! its hard to search ebay for them cause everybody lists them as 67 to 72 nobody will admit the 67s are different ,,

PM board members uncle and Southern Parts. Between the two, there's a good chance one of them has a set. Uncle parted a '67 GMC Custom Camper a while back that had nice chrome on it. I have the truck now, but he kept the doors. He may still have the vent glasses.

I have a nice set. The guy I got them from changed the rubber and put a slice on the inside bottom so he wouldn't have to deal with the rivets. It's a very minor flaw that some black silicone or similar thing could hide. If you're interested I can send you more info,pictures,etc. These are very nice.

I have a brand new set of vent window rubber I bought and never installed so if I needed or wanted to I could install it on these you are talking about ,,,

That's what I figured,you could always do it right and usually they still have the original rubber anyway. It sure didn't bother me about that
