Introducing my 66' long fleetside

I have been a member of this site since September of 2011 but have never posted. I decided my first post should be the introduction of my truck. I used a lot of information from here while working on my truck and am now preparing for some "off season" changes so I will be asking for more help from everyone. I will post more pictures later.

Wow, beautiful ride. I hope the changes aren't going to be major, it looks great as is.

Hey grubsster, I'm in Fayetteville just south of you. Great looking truck you got. Tell us some more about it. Quite a few of us in the sandhills. Check out the NC forum also under the regional forums.

Thanks, took a while to get it there. Looks won't change, just putting a 283 and a TH350 in it. Changing the steering column to a 1972 automatic to go with the transmission change and maybe dropping it 3" in the back and 1" in the front so it's easier for the Mrs to get in.

Thanks, took a while to figure out exactly what we wanted to do color wise. The white is a Pearl which really stands out in the sun. BTW I was originally leaning towards a color similar to yours.

Thanks, we have a good number of "us" guys where I work. I am trying to put together a photobucket account similar to yours to post all of the build photos I have.

Hey crakarjax, I had just e-mailed you! Thanks for the compliment (and the steering column).
