How about some pics of NON-LOWERED 73-87 short boxes

Looking for ideas on my 1987 GMC swb shortbox. I want some nice '70's looking wheels &
tires. Please post some cool truck pics if you have any. Thanks.

What size tires are you running? Looks good to me. I'm not a fan of the lowered look.

Brand new

I lowered it when it had about 1500 miles on it.

I really like this picture. Even though mine is not a stepside or a '76, I still like the look. Anyone know what kind of wheels those are?

Not that rich, but they do look cool. I love that orange stepside! I'll bet they're hard to keep clean anyway.....

1977cheyenne C10, you better hang on to those bed rails. The prices for those things are going up. Nice truck by the way.

Yes they look like appliances
The ads usually came out before the trucks...as far as I know they were not an RPO...just a "dealer installed"item.
Also the white roof on the ad truck may be pre production...I have not seen one of the 76 Sports with it.
Mine is original paint with rallys;the factory white spokes were also available.

I found Detroit Vintage the other day when looking for some eight lug Vectors or Slots. (everything is 16.5. sad day!) They aren't cheap, but their products look great! If you're doing a resto, or a period build and you got the money; they're the place to go!
