With or without A/C? SBCs also used a couple different bracket sets for the compressor. I know the A/C and non-A/C cables are different with at least one style bracket. Not sure if there were 2 or 3 different cable sets.

Does anyone know if they still installed these on 72 trucks since they went to a cable throttle, with less chance of binding in case of motor mount failure?

My 72 does not show any signs of having the recall cable. That does not mean they did not have them in 1972.
