SM465 trans question/problem

I've got a '72 LWB 2WD with a 350 in it. I've got a SM465 (granny 4 spd)mated up to the engine but I don't have an 'output' connector that goes from the trans to the 1350 on the driveshaft. Does anyone have any info on what I might need to make the connection and a source? Thanks

Re: SM465 trans question/problem

A yoke is probably the word you're looking for. It slides into the trans and that end is splined, while the back end takes a U-joint...

Do some web searching for the spline count on your year 465. I think it changed in later years.
