97 Chevy short box Rebuild
Hey guys i am new to this forum and rebuilding trucks. I had a verry nice 97 short box until some guy ran a red light and hit the passenger side box, ruined the box and the rear part of the frame.
Needless to say i just baught a new frame and cab to start with, going to be doing a full rebuild, lowering 4/6, painting frame, painting truck, keeping the 305 etc etc. so i might ask some dumb questions about these truck and ask for some options. Tried up loading some pictures of what it use to look like, i will upload some of what it looks like now, and the new frame, First step ripping apart the frame, get it sandblasted and paint, any recommendations for frame undercoats/paints/procedures etc etc. Thinking to sandblast, primer, eastwood rubberized black paint. |
