Picked up this 68 GMC swb last weekend.

We were at the Springfield swap meet last weekend. You all know how everyone knows someone that has one of these old trucks,,, it was one of those deals. Truck has a 250 six cylinder, three on the tree. It has been lowered and the 215 75 15 tires do not help it any. Lights, wipers,, even the horn works. Had to bring it home. Planning on a quick clean up, putting a little taller tire on it, oil change and then flippiing it. I am hoping it will look a lot different by Sunday evening. Thanks, Fred.

I think so. It sure is fun to just putt around in. My guys are thinking it would make a good shop truck for us. Thanks, Fred.

Sure. I will get you a pic when I get in from work this evening. They are vinyl graphics, not cool painted ones. Thanks, Fred.

I'm second in the "flip it to me" category!

Nice looking truck by the way. I bet my fresh 396BB will fit nicely in there.

Re: Picked up this 68 GMC swb last weekend.

I am done. Cleaned it up, put a little taller tire on it. Got rid of those hideous red heater hoses,, I hate those things. it still needs body work, but I don't do body work. Going to try and list it this evening. What do you guys think?

Man,,, a $3000.00 truck on ebay brings all the squirrels out of the trees.. You would not believe some of the emails this one has generated. Some are kind of comical, some just annoying...

Does that thing run? Nasty impact behind the door, but if you had it for sale here for $3,000 the only emails you would get would be "Ill take it".

It does run. It just putts down the road like these little six cylinders do.

While I cannot argue with your logic, it is just too good a truck to part out.

You better believe I will enjoy it, the wife and I are going to keep it like it is and "rat rod" it a bit. First the drivers side door sill and corner piece that is damaged will be replaced, new rear bumper and a seat cover for starters.
Company logo on the door, undercoating for the harsh winters here in jersey.
Then a complete interior re-paint.
