The colleseium is also on 90.Where the auction and swapmeet are held. So,a motel room anywhere from Ocean Springs to Longbeach is your best bet. Hwy.90 and interstate 10 run parrallel to the coast about 5 miles apart and anywhere in between these are also good and fairly close. You can stay further east in the Pascagouls area on or near I-10(where I live)and still be with-in 30 minutes of CTC. Or go further west.Mississippi is only 70 or so miles wide at the coast! Make any reservations as soon as possible as the good rooms sell out fast. All the national chains are here. There's plenty of RV parks too. CTC is a great family event too. I am in no way associated with CTC! Mike. |

Re: Cruise the coast ?
Cruisin' The Coast has ended it PRE-registration with a record breaking 5,572 entrants. Last year they pre-registered 4,882 and ended the event with 6,169 registered vehicles.
You can follow them on Facebook. They said that they have had more trucks than ever registered for this years event! |

Re: Cruise the coast ?
A lot of guys from LCTC, and at least one from TNCTC, are
there every year. (Also members here but don't post much) Friday at Ocean Springs is the place to be, we usually get there early and stay ALL DAY. (Dawn till Dusk) It has lots of shade, plenty of places to eat, and the most vehicles. CC

Re: Cruise the coast ?
I have to tell you, I really liked Ocean Springs on Friday last year. So much shade and the shops were cool too. We (n2billet, STP67-72, and Larry Long Bed) cruised out to Bay St Louis on Saturday morning, the air was cool and crisp cruisin' down hwy 90 and the water was like glass. Fantastic folks in Bay St Louis, but no shade so it was a warm one! Seems that it's a good time no matter where you are!!!

Re: Cruise the coast ?
May just ride my Harley over to look on Saturday. If you're retired military there's Keesler AFB, Gulfport Navy Base, and Air Guard Center at Gulfport Airport Space A lodging.
